This is built for adults who still desire the social part of travel, without pretending they want hostel bunk beds or a 22-year-old tour guide holding a clipboard.
01
Small group energy. Around 25 travelers, so you can actually meet people.
02
Adult logistics. Hotels, private coach, planned route, and someone else handling the moving parts.
03
Real nights out. Pubs, live music, New Year’s Eve in Dingle, and enough structure that solo never feels solo.
04
No giant bus tour energy. Curated, social, and founder-led from start to finish.

Everything You'd Text a Friend to Ask
(If your group chat actually answered)
Yes — most people do. That's the entire premise. You book solo, you show up solo, and by the welcome dinner in Donegal you're not solo anymore. Nobody's arriving with their crew and side-eyeing the new person. Everyone said yes to this trip without waiting for their group chat to get its act together, which means everyone's in the same boat — and the boat has live music.
No. Solo travelers pay the standard price (€2,830). We match you with a same-gender roommate by default — someone also traveling solo, because again, that's most of the group. If you'd rather have your own room, that's available as an upgrade for €700. But nobody pays a penalty for showing up alone. Penalizing solo travelers on a trip built for solo travelers would be a strange business model.
Adults in their 30s and 40s, mostly. The majority book solo; some come with one friend. What they have in common: they still want the social part of travel but have aged out of hostel bunk beds and 22-year-olds holding clipboards. It's about 25 travelers — big enough that you're not trapped with one clique, small enough that you'll know names by day two. And no, it's not secretly a couples trip.
Then you'll have a private coach across the west of Ireland, boutique hotels, great pubs, and one of the best New Year's Eves of your life anyway — the trip stands on its own. But honestly? Twenty-five adults who all chose a group trip to Ireland over another forgettable NYE tend to get along. There's enough structure that you're never stuck figuring out a night alone, and enough free time that you're never trapped in forced fun. Need an evening off from the group? Take it. Nobody's counting heads.
A €100 deposit holds your spot and is fully refundable until August 27th 2026. On August 27th a second payment of €400 is due and the trip is locked in. The balance is split into three equal installments before the trip. If booking a private room an additional €350 deposit is due at booking (also refundable through August 27th 2026.) The balance of the single supplement in the amount of €350 will be added to your final payment. Booking runs through Doc's Tours — our Ireland operator for hotels, coaches, and logistics — on the secure WeTravel platform, so you'll see their name at checkout.

THE VIBE IS OURS. THE LOGISTICS ARE HANDLED
Founder-Led. Ireland-Ready.
"I've led tours in Ireland going back to 2017. I've lived there, and my family's been in Irish hospitality for generations. Still Out There is the experience I wished existed every time a friend said 'I'd love to go, but I've got no one to go with.'"

Decades of Irish Tour Experience
Trusted. Local. Proven.
Still Out There is partnered with Doc’s Tours, a custom tour operator with over 10 years of experience across Ireland and Europe.
They handle the local logistics. We bring the group, the pacing, and the social spark.
For people who grew out of backpacker trips, but not out of having a life.
NOT YOUR NORMAL GROUP TRIP
Premium enough to feel like an adult.
Good hotels, private coach, proper pacing, and a trip that does not require sleeping next to a stranger named Beans.
Social enough to actually meet people.
The group is the point. Not in an awkward forced-fun way. In a “by day three this is a problem for the group chat” way.
Built around the nights you remember.
Cliffs, pubs, music, and midnight in Dingle. The kind of trip that makes normal New Year’s Eve plans look medically concerning.
Where the Story Happens

Donegal & Slieve League
Wild cliffs. Open air. Proper Ireland.

Galway & the West Coast
Live music, salty air, and good people.

Dingle for New Year's Eve
Celebrate somewhere you'll remember forever.

Kilkenny Music & History
Cobblestone streets and stories that stick.
